What is GNAV?

The Global Network for Algerian Veterinarians is an active standing committee in the Algerian Veterinary Space Foundation organigram that officially launched in September 19th, 2022, during the first EVA World Veterinary Congress and Animal Show, held in Tipaza, Algeria.

GNAV is seen by its leaders as a directory of all Algerian veterinarians practicing abroad (all sectors combined) that aims to:

. Set up Workshops (Workshops) organized with our Algerian counterparts and colleagues on site (in Algeria) in order to exchange our professional experiences and our therapeutic techniques and approaches.

. Offer, with the collaboration of schools and institutes, to young veterinarians in their final year or fresh out of schools and institutes, short-term internships in veterinary structures abroad: An opportunity allowing them to approach this beautiful profession with full of optimism and in better conditions.

. Participate and provide our human and technical support in the fight and control of the various epizootics, which have hit our Algerian farms hard for several decades.

. Contribute more actively with our counterparts on site to put in place protocols and roadmaps to improve the management of Animal Health and Public Health in the context of the Fight against Antibiotic Resistance (One Health One World)

“GNAV is the first international network of Algerian Veterinarians practicing abroad. All passionate, dedicated and determined to meet the challenge of performance and improvement of the practice of veterinary medicine in Algeria.

Our country is beautiful and deserves to shine at its fair value and the GNAV is there to contribute to it.”
